Happy 30th Birthday Buddy!

Jeremy celebrates his 30th Birthday!!!! Hard to believe that our little boy is married and celebrating his big THREE - OH!!! Jeremy always loved music and movies. No surprise that they are still his favorites. (The title of this post taken from Mr. Destiny.) As you can see, Jeremy took to listening to music early. Check out those 70's ear phones.

Zoey is Two!!!

September 30th, Miss Zoey Boey Boo Boo Head turned two years old. She recently came home after a visit to the groomers with a cute purple bow. Don't think the camera caught how cute she really looked in person. Happy Birthday, Zoey!

The Big Three OH!!!!

It is our beautiful Suzanne Stradley Quist's birthday and she is turning the Big 3-0! Suzanne and Jeremy are still in New York and we are here in Cali but we will get to celebrate with them soon. We hope your birthday is the bestest ever!

California Here They Come!!!!!

We just got the news! Jeremy and Suzanne will be moving back to California in October 2008. Suzanne got a great job with her current publishing company in San Francisco. Her new manager loved her so much they volunteered to pay for relocation (which originally they weren't going to do). Jeremy will start looking for his perfect job with his 'fancy' masters degree from NYU. And of course they will look for a nice location to live in the Bay Area. Yes, just 2 hours at most away from family. We are soooooo excited, it has been 12 years since Jeremy has lived this close to Sactown.

Today he turns double nickels. I'm not sure how this is phasing him. I know that some of his friends want to go order off the senior's menu at Denney's. Tonight we are going to eat suishi and go to music in the park. I'm sure there will be golf during the week as well as BBQ events for the 4th. What a fun week!

Birthday Girl!

Happy Birthday to Dee!! Yes, the matriarch of the family had her x@* birthday this year and today officially ends her birthday week. She got to be a princess on her day, Zoey and Mocha actually let her sleep in, she was taken out for breakfast and enjoyed a concert in the park that evening! Yeah!!

SURPRISE!!!!!

Jeremy was planning for weeks to attend Bailey's graduation from CSUF, but he wanted it to be a surprise. He told Bailey that he and Suzanne could not get time off work, plus he was busy finishing up his classes at NYU. We had this elaborate plan for Jeremy to fly in to LAX. We would pick him up while Bailey was at her voice lesson. But weather in New York created a 30 plane back-up on the tarmack and Jeremy's flight was delayed. Jeremy finally got to L.A. but not before we had to tell Bailey that instead of going to dinner we were going to the airport to pick up Jeremy. Bailey was surprised and elated that her brother was able to be at her graduation. (Sad that Suzanne could not come) We are planning a celebration in August for both Bailey and Jeremy as he will be completing his Masters in July.

A Wild Weekend

Stephen and I went to Fullerton this past weekend to see Bailey in the musical The Wild Party. Set in 1929, I now know why they called it the "roaring" 20's! I took a photo of this publicity picture through a window in the lobby. It is Ellie (Bailey) with Madeline True. I also went to Bailey's work....Massage Envy and got a 90 minute massage. Yao-zaa!

Happy Birthday, Miss Bailey!

It just seems like yesterday that our little girl was born. She came a week early, making us leave a family friend's wedding reception. She was born with dark brown hair and olive toned skin. If she didn't look so much like Jeremy, we would have wondered if they switched babies on us. Today she turns 23, and has grown into a lovey young woman. Here is to your best year yet. Love you!!!

P.S. Dad and I are not old enough to have children yours and Jeremy's age.

Our Celebration

Stephen and I celebrated our 31st Anniversary in Bodega Bay, home of "The Birds". We enjoyed some great seafood, lovely beaches and each other. We stopped in Napa on the way home to do a little wine tasting at V Sattui.

Quistmas Time is Here!

Yule Blog

We started out our holiday season by celebrating at Double G and Vickie's wedding reception. They got married on October 5th but decided to hold the reception when Bailey, Jeremy and Suzanne were home for the holidays. We got to catch up and see many family friends.

Before we knew it, Santa was on his way. Quistmas was "crazy". Santa of course came, left a mess and ate all the cookies. Quistmas morning we opened presents, ate sticky buns and drank Peet's coffee. We lunched with Double G and Vickie and then off to Roseville to celebrate with the Quist/Manley's. The next day, I fixed a yummy spaghetti dinner when the Erickson's came over to spread their yule tide cheer.

Many of the kid's friends were around and we saw the Pack's, Kelly B. and MattChang. Jeremy was able to visit with Mike and Toby, Anthony and Jared and Byron. We were invited to the "gathering" at the Stradley household and before you knew it.....time for everyone to go back home. Zoey loved having the house full of people and seized every opportunity to have some one scratch her neck or find a lap to curl up and sleep.
