Thanksgiving in New York

The Quist Family spent Thanksgiving week in New York. We stayed in a cute Brownstone a couple of blocks from Jeremy and Suzanne in Park Slope, a suburb of Brooklyn. Jeremy and Suzanne live in a cute apartment on a nice street in Park Slope. They are a few steps from the subway, above a Thai restaurant and a block from Smiling Pizza. Yes, the pizza does make you smile. Bailey flew out a few days earlier to visit with girlfriends living in NYC. Bailey got off to a rocky start when she had an emergency appendectomy two days before she was supposed to fly out. She ended up leaving the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Anyway, we had a great time walking everywhere and taking the subway into Manhatten. We saw the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall, rode the Carrousel in Central Park, and ate hotdogs from the street vendors. The best part was being together in the "city that never sleeps".
